Clearance Indicator does not Illuminate [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Read the DTC of [Body Control] using the GTS.

   Body Electrical > Body Control > Trouble Codes 

   Are any DTCs displayed? (Current code)

   Result	Proceed to
   YES (Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs.)	A
   NO	B

Result: 

A 

PERFORM THE DIAGNOSIS FOR THE DISPLAYED DTCS. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2021 - ]

B

1. Start the engine.
2. Using the GTS, read all DTCs.

   Is DTC U**** displayed? (Current code)

   Result	Proceed to
   YES (Perform the diagnosis according to the basic diagnostic procedure in CAN SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS).)	A
   NO	B

Result: 

A 

PERFORM THE DIAGNOSIS ACCORDING TO THE BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE IN CAN SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS). Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2021 - ]

1. Using the GTS, check the following items in the [Active Test] of [Combination Meter].

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Active Test

   Position light

   Do the indicated amount on GTS and the clearance indicator indication match?

   Result	Proceed to
   YES	A
   NO (Replace the combination meter assembly.)	B

1. Using the GTS, check the following items in the [Data Monitor] of [Body Control].

   Body Electrical > Body Control > Data List 

   Tester Display	Measurement Item	Diagnostic Note
   Lighting I Switch Input	ON/OFF status of the lighting I switch. Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) input value. Set to ON while the lighting I switch is ON.	-

   Body Electrical > Body Control > Data List

   Lighting I Switch Input

   Do the switch operation and data indication match?

   Result	Proceed to
   YES (Replace the main body ecu (multiplex network body ecu).)	A
   NO (Check the clearance light.)	B

REPLACE THE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]
