Installation [11/2018 - 08/2020]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL AUXILIARY BATTERY 
    1. w/ No. 1 Battery Spacer:

      Install the No. 1 battery spacer.

    2. Install the auxiliary battery.
    3. Install the battery insulator.
    4. Install the battery clamp sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf) 

    5. Connect the battery hose to the auxiliary battery.
    6. Connect the cable to the positive (+) auxiliary battery terminal and tighten the nut.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf) 

    7. Close the connector cover.
  2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    1. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and tighten the nut.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2018 - 02/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2019 - 06/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [06/2020 - 08/2020]

  3. INSTALL BATTERY HOLE COVER 
    1. Attach the 12 claws and install the battery hole cover.
  4. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD 
    1. Attach the 2 clips and 2 guides and install the luggage trim service hole cover.
  5. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the deck board assembly.
