Installation [11/2018 - ]: Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. INSTALL HV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    1. Install the HV battery junction block assembly to the HV battery with the 4 nuts.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      If the HV battery junction block assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it with a new one.

    2. Connect the HV battery junction block assembly connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

    3. Engage the 2 claws to install the wiring harness protector.
    4. Connect the HV battery junction block assembly connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

    5. Engage the 2 claws to close the wiring harness protector.
    6. Engage the clamp.
    7. Connect the HV battery junction block assembly connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

    8. Connect the electric vehicle battery plug assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL UPPER HV BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY EXHAUST DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  4. CONNECT FLOOR WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    1. Engage the 2 clamps to connect the floor wire.
    2. Connect the HV battery junction block assembly connector.
    3. Connect the electric vehicle battery plug assembly connector.
    4. Engage the clamp.
  5. CONNECT FLOOR UNDER WIRE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY COVER PANEL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  8. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  9. INSTALL NO. 2 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  10. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 59 [11/2018 - 02/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 60 [02/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58 [08/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58 [10/2023 - ]

  11. INSTALL NO. 3 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  12. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL NO. 1 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  14. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  15. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  16. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2018 - ]
