Installation [06/2020 - ]: Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. INSTALL HYBRID BATTERY TERMINAL BLOCK 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    1. Engage the claw to install the hybrid battery terminal block to the HV battery.
    2. Connect the hybrid battery terminal block connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connector is connected securely.

  2. INSTALL HV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    1. Install the HV battery junction block assembly to the HV battery with the 4 nuts.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      If the HV battery junction block assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it with a new one.

    2. Connect the 2 HV battery junction block assembly connectors.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

    3. Install the electric vehicle battery plug assembly to the HV battery with the bolt.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

    4. Connect the hybrid battery terminal block connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connector is connected securely.

    5. Connect the HV battery junction block assembly connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connector is connected securely.

    6. for Type A:

      Engage the 2 claws to close the wiring harness protector.

      for Type B:

      Engage the claw to close the wiring harness protector.

  3. CONNECT FLOOR WIRE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  4. CONNECT FLOOR UNDER WIRE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY COVER PANEL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  4

  7. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 

    See step  5

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 

    See step  6

  9. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 60 [02/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58 [08/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58 [10/2023 - ]

  10. INSTALL NO. 3 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 

    See step  8

  11. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 60 [02/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58 [08/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58 [10/2023 - ]

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  13. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  14. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2018 - ] 

  15. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [06/2020 - 08/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2023 - ]
