AWD Warning does not Come ON [11/2018 - ]: Procedure

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- Check that there is no looseness at the locking and connecting parts of the 4WD ECU assembly connector.
OK
No looseness at the locking and connecting parts
- Disconnect the N3 and N4 4WD ECU assembly connectors.
- Check the connector case and the terminal for deformation and corrosion.
OK
No deformation or corrosion
- Connect the N3 and N4 4WD ECU assembly connectors.

Proceed to OK NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

- Check that there is no looseness at the locking and connecting parts of the 4WD ECU assembly connector.
- CHECK 4WD WARNING MESSAGE
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- According to the display on the Techstream, perform the Active Test and check the Data List "4WD Warning Light" turns ON/OFF.
