Rear Television Camera Communication Stop Mode [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the television camera assembly connector.

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   R31-1 (CANH) - R31-2 (CANL)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal	54 to 69 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   R31-3 (CGND) - Body ground	Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal	Below 1 Ω

2. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
   NOTE:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2023 - ]

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   R31-4 (CB+) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	5.5 to 7.05 V
   	Ignition switch off	Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY 

Refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

NG

1. Disconnect the G148 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   R31-4 (CB+) - G148-2 (CB+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   R31-3 (CGND) - G148-1 (CGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   R31-4 (CB+) or G148-2 (CB+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   R31-3 (CGND) or G148-1 (CGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result
