DTC C1687: Over Current Detected in Driver Side Camera [11/2018 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - 10/2022]

   Chassis > Circumference Monitoring Camera Control Module > Clear DTCs 

2. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - 10/2022]

   Chassis > Circumference Monitoring Camera Control Module > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   DTC C1687 is not output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2018 - ]

1. Disconnect the N24 parking assist ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the J13 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   N24-12 (LCB+) - J13-3 (LCB+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   N24-35 (LGND) - J13-11 (LGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   N24-12 (LCB+) or J13-3 (LCB+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   N24-35 (LGND) or J13-11 (LGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

2. Disconnect the outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   A-1 (SCB+) - J13-3 (LCB+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A-5 (SGND) - J13-11 (LGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω

   A-5 (SGND) or J13-11 (LGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
