DTC B1650: Occupant Classification System Malfunction; DTC B165A: Occupant Detection Sensor Zero Point Calibration Incomplete [11/2018 - 08/2020]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC (OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM) 
    1. Check for occupant classification system DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]

      Body Electrical > Occupant Detection > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      DTCs are not output.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    GO TO OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2018 - 02/2019]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [02/2019 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs stored in memory.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - 08/2020]

      Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs 

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT
