DTC B1610: Front Airbag Sensor (RH) [02/2019 - 08/2020]: Procedure

- CHECK FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR RH
- Turn the ignition switch off.
*1 Front Airbag Sensor LH *2 Airbag ECU Assembly - Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
- Interchange the front airbag sensor RH with LH and connect the connectors to them.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Clear the DTCs stored in memory.

Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check for DTCs.

Result
Proceed to DTC B1610 is output DTC B1615 is output DTCs B1610 and B1615 are not output HINT:
Codes other than DTC B1610 and B1615 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
- Return the front airbag sensor LH and RH to their original positions and connect the connectors to them.
Result:
DTC B1610 is output
REPLACE AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2019 - 08/2020]
Result:
DTC B1615 is output
REPLACE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR RH. Refer to REMOVAL [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2019 - 08/2020]
Result:
DTCs B1610 and B1615 are not output
