DTC B1ACB-71: Front Left Speaker Cable Actuator Stuck [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK PROBLEM SYMPTOM 
    1. Confirm the problem symptoms and proceed to the respective link.

      No sound is output from the front No. 3 speaker assembly LH B

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the M2 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the G6 front No. 2 speaker assembly LH connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M2-14 (FL+) - G6-4 (TWL+) Always Below 1 Ω
      M2-29 (FL-) - G6-2 (TWL-) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

      Post-procedure1

    4. None

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the G6 front No. 2 speaker assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the J1 front No. 1 speaker assembly LH connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G6-3 (+) - J1-2 (+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G6-1 (-) - J1-1 (-) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    4. None

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  4. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH

  5. REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or known good one.

      HINT: 

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

  6. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

    1. In accordance with the display of the GTS, perform a speaker line electricity check.

  8. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs and proceed to the following step.

  9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the M2 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the G8 front No. 3 speaker assembly LH connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M2-10 (TWL+) - G8-1 (+) Always Below 1 Ω
      M2-25 (TWL-) - G8-2 (-) Always Below 1 Ω
