Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly Communication Stop Mode [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the inner rear view mirror assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P1-9 (CANH) - P1-10 (CANL)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	54 to 69 Ω

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY)

OK

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P1-2 (E) - Body ground	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	Below 1 Ω

2. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
   NOTE:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2023 - ]

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P1-6 (+B) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V
   P1-1 (IG) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	11 to 14 V
   	Ignition switch off	Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG
