Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly Communication Stop Mode [08/2020 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the inner rear view mirror assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P1-9 (CANH) - P1-10 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω *a Front view of wire harness connector

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P1-2 (E) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω *a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly) - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
