Open in Bus 1 Main Bus Line [09/2022 - 11/2022]: Procedure

  1. CHECK VEHICLE TYPE 
    1. Check vehicle type.

  2. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN MAIN BUS LINES (NO. 1 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the I91 No. 1 CAN junction connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *b to Central Gateway ECU (Network Gateway ECU)

      Standard Resistance

  3. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN MAIN BUS LINES (CENTRAL GATEWAY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) - NO. 1 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 
    1. Reconnect the I91 No. 1 CAN junction connector.
    2. Disconnect the I53 central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    REPLACE CENTRAL GATEWAY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU)

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN MAIN BUS LINES OR CONNECTOR (CENTRAL GATEWAY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) - NO. 1 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 

  4. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN MAIN BUS LINES (NO. 7 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 
    1. Reconnect the I91 No. 1 CAN junction connector.
    2. Disconnect the O121 No. 7 CAN junction connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Reconnect the O121 No. 7 CAN junction connector.
    2. Disconnect the O95 CAN junction terminal connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  6. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN MAIN BUS LINES (NO. 1 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the I91 No. 1 CAN junction connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Reconnect the I91 No. 1 CAN junction connector.
    2. Disconnect the I53 central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
