  3. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the A23 headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink, a component of the headlight assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  4. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (HEADLIGHT CORD (HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY LH)) 
    1. Connect the headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the B headlight cord (headlight unit assembly LH) connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If all LH side turn signal lights do not blink, the headlight cord (headlight unit assembly LH) is malfunctioning.

  5. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Remove the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 09/2022]

    2. Connect the headlight cord (headlight unit assembly LH) connector to the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If all LH side turn signal lights do not blink, the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  6. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the A83 headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink, the headlight unit assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  7. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the A90 headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink, the front turn signal light socket LH is malfunctioning.

    1. Connect the headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the L9 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink, a component of the outer rear view mirror assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  9. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Remove the side turn signal light assembly LH from outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - ]

    2. Connect the wire harness connector to the outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If all LH side turn signal lights do not blink, the outer rear view mirror assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  11. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CIRCUIT) 
    1. Connect the outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.*1
    2. Connect the headlight assembly LH connector.*2
    3. Disconnect the O104 rear combination light assembly LH connector.
    4. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink, the rear combination light cord LH is malfunctioning.

      1. *1: w/ Side Turn Signal Light

  12. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CIRCUIT) 
    1. Connect the outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.*1
    2. Connect the headlight assembly LH connector.*2
    3. Disconnect the O43 rear combination light assembly LH connector.
    4. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink, a component of the rear combination light assembly LH is malfunctioning.

      1. *1: w/ Side Turn Signal Light

  13. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (REAR COMBINATION LIGHT CORD LH) 
    1. Remove the rear combination light LED LH from rear combination light assembly LH.

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [06/2018 - ]

    2. Connect the wire harness connector to the rear combination light assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If all LH side turn signal lights do not blink, the rear combination light cord LH is malfunctioning.

  14. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LH SIDE EACH PARTS - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the A21*1, A83*2 or A90*3 headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the L9 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.*4
    3. Disconnect the I5 combination meter assembly connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A21-1 (TNS)*1, A83-2 (B)*2, A90-1 (B)*3, L9-5 (B)*4 or I5-1 (LL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      2. *2: for LED Type Front Turn Signal Light without AFS

      6. *6: for Bulb Type Rear Turn Signal Light

    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the RH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If all RH side turn signal lights do not blink, the headlight cord (headlight unit assembly RH) is malfunctioning.

    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the RH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If all RH side turn signal lights do not blink, the headlight ECU sub-assembly RH is malfunctioning.

    1. Disconnect the A82 headlight assembly RH connector.
    2. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the RH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the RH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink, the headlight unit assembly RH is malfunctioning.

      HINT: 

      If the RH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink, the front turn signal light socket is RH malfunctioning.

    1. Connect the headlight assembly RH connector.
    2. Disconnect the K10 outer rear view mirror assembly RH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the RH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the RH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink, a component of the outer rear view mirror assembly RH is malfunctioning.

    2. Connect the wire harness connector to the outer rear view mirror assembly RH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the RH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If all RH side turn signal lights do not blink, the outer rear view mirror assembly RH is malfunctioning.

      If the RH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink, the rear combination light cord RH is malfunctioning.

    3. Disconnect the O42 rear combination light assembly RH connector.
    4. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the RH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the RH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink, a component of the rear combination light assembly RH is malfunctioning.
