Starter Signal Circuit [11/2023 - ]: Description

w/ Smart Key System
1. While the engine is being cranked, current flows from terminal STAR of the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) to terminal STA of the ECM (STA signal).
w/o Smart Key System
1. While the engine is being cranked, current flows from terminal ST1 of the ignition or starter switch assembly to the ST N/ST relay and to terminal STA of the ECM (STA signal).
