  1. CHECK LIGHTS 
    1. Inspect the illumination of each turn signal light.

      Result

  3. CHECK LH SIDE LIGHTS (REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Disconnect the P12 rear light assembly LH connector.
    2. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights blink, the rear light assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  4. CHECK REAR LIGHT CORD LH 
    1. Interchange the rear light cord LH with RH and connect the connectors.

    2. Check that the rear turn signal light operates normally.

  5. CHECK LH SIDE LIGHTS (REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Connect the P12 rear light assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the P10 rear combination light assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights blink, the rear combination light assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  6. CHECK REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE LH 
    1. Interchange the rear combination light socket and wire LH with RH and connect the connectors.

    2. Check that the rear turn signal light operates normally.

      OK

      Rear turn signal light blinks.

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH AND REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the P12 rear light assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the G15 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P10-3 (TRN), P12-3 (B) or G15-10 (TRNL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  8. CHECK LH SIDE LIGHTS (OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Connect the P10 rear combination light assembly LH connector.
    2. Connect the P12 rear light assembly LH connector.
    3. Connect the G15 combination meter assembly connector.
    4. Disconnect the I28 outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH*1 connector.
    5. Disconnect the I29 outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH*2 connector.
    6. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights blink, the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  10. CHECK LH SIDE LIGHTS (HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Connect the I28 outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH*1 connector.
    2. Connect the I29 outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH*2 connector.
    3. Disconnect the A62 headlight assembly LH connector.
    4. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the headlight turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights blink, the headlight assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  12. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH AND OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the G15 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the I28 outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH*1 connector.
    3. Disconnect the I29 outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH*2 connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

    2. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights blink, the rear combination light assembly LH is malfunctioning.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Disconnect the I29 outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH connector.
    4. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights blink, the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH is malfunctioning.

    2. Disconnect the A45 headlight assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the headlight turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights blink, the headlight assembly LH is malfunctioning.

      HINT: 

      If the RH side turn signal lights blink, the headlight assembly RH is malfunctioning.

  36. CHECK RH SIDE LIGHTS (HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH) 
    1. Connect the I13 outer rear view mirror sub-assembly RH connector.
    2. Disconnect the A44 headlight assembly RH connector.
    3. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the RH side turn signal lights other than the headlight turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the RH side turn signal lights blink, the headlight assembly RH is malfunctioning.

    1. Disconnect the G15 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the I13 outer rear view mirror sub-assembly RH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
