  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the A62 headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the G15 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A62-11 (TNS) - G15-11 (LL) Always Below 1 Ω
      A62-12 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to

  4. INSPECT HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [04/2018 - ]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      B-20 (TURN+) - A62-11 (TNS) Always Below 1 Ω

  5. CHECK HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Connect the G15 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Remove each headlight ECU sub-assembly, interchange the headlight assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [04/2018 - ]

    3. Check that the front turn signal light operates normally.

      OK

      Front turn signal light blinks.

      Result

      Proceed to

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2018 - ]

    REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 08/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2021 - ] 

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the A45 headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the G15 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A45-2 (B) - G15-11 (LL) Always Below 1 Ω
      A45-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to

      NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  7. CHECK HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Connect the G15 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Interchange the headlight assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.

      Refer to REMOVAL [04/2018 - ]

    3. Check that the front turn signal light operates normally.

      OK

      Front turn signal light blinks.

      Result

    2. Interchange the rear combination light socket and wire LH with RH and connect the connectors.

    3. Check that the rear turn signal light operates normally.

      Rear turn signal light blinks.

      Rear turn signal light blinks.

    1. Disconnect the P10 rear combination light assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the G15 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P10-3 (TRN) - G15-10 (TRNL) Always Below 1 Ω
      P10-4 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    2. Disconnect the G15 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      A44-2 (B) - G15-7 (LR) Always Below 1 Ω
      A44-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
