Removal [04/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure

PRECAUTION
NOTE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [04/2018 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [08/2019 - 08/2021]
REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD
Refer to REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2021]

REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR

Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector.

Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts, fuel pressure sensor and No. 1 fuel pressure sensor holder from the fuel delivery pipe.

NOTE:

Pull and remove each fuel pressure sensor in a straight line to avoid damaging the seal surface of the fuel delivery pipe O-ring.
After removing the fuel pressure sensor, remove any O-ring, No. 1 fuel injector back-up ring and No. 3 fuel injector back-up ring remaining on the fuel delivery pipe side.
