Customize Parameters [08/2019 - 08/2020]

  1. CUSTOMIZE METER / GAUGE SYSTEM 
    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

    HINT: 

    The following items can be customized.

    1. Customizing with the Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Warning or Display.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Warning 

        Tester Display Description Default Setting ECU
        Flasher Sound Volume Adjust Function to change the flasher sound volume Medium $02: Large, $00: Medium, $01: Small Combination meter assembly
        Suggestion Service Function Function to change the suggestion service display setting ON 00: OFF, 01: Only Parked, 11: ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)

        ODO Display Time After IG OFF Adjust Function to change the ODO display time after the power switch is turned off 30s $00: 30s, $01: 60s, $02: 600s, $03: OFF Combination meter assembly
    2. Customizing with the multi-display
      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      2. Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Convenience Services.
      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

    3. Customizing with the multi-information display
      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      2. Select the settings tab on the multi-information display and set the customize settings.
