On-Vehicle Inspection [08/2020 -]: Procedure

Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [04/2018 -] 

1. Start the engine and stop it after 1 or 2 minutes.
2. Remove the battery.

   for A25A-FKS: Refer to REMOVAL [08/2020 -]

   for 2GR-FKS: Refer to REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 -]

3. Disconnect the connector from the vacuum warning switch assembly.
4. Measure the resistance of the vacuum warning switch assembly.

   Standard Resistance

   10 kΩ or higher

5. With the engine stopped, depress the brake pedal several times to release vacuum from the brake booster assembly, and measure the resistance of the vacuum warning switch assembly.

   Standard Resistance

   Below 1 Ω

6. Connect the connector to the vacuum warning switch assembly.
7. Install the battery.

   for A25A-FKS: Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2020 -]

   for 2GR-FKS: Refer to INSTALLATION [04/2018 -]
