DTC C124F-62: Yaw Rate Sensor Signal Compare Failure [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (YAW RATE SENSOR) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake / Data List.
    5. According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.
    6. Check that the yaw rate sensor output value displayed on the Techstream.

      Yaw Rate Sensor Value Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (air bag sensor assembly) Min.: -128°/s
      Max.: 127°/s
      Vehicle stopped: 0°/s
      Turning right: -128 to 0°/s
      Turning left: 0 to 127°/s

      HINT: 

      If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step.

    REPLACE AIR BAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]

  2. CHECK AIR BAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Turn the ignition switch off.
    2. Check that the air bag sensor assembly has been installed properly.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2015 - ]

      OK

      The sensor should be tightened to the specified torque.

      The sensor should not be installed in a tilted position.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE AIR BAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    INSTALL AIR BAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  INSTALLATION [08/2015 - ]
