DTC B1875-13: Passenger Seat Cushion Airbag Squib Circuit Open [07/2020 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Clear the DTCs stored in memory.
Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check for DTCs.
Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Trouble Codes
Result
Proceed to DTC B1875-13 is output DTC B1875-13 is not output
Result:
DTC B1875-13 is not output

- CHECK CONNECTION OF CONNECTORS
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check that the connectors are properly connected to the front seat cushion airbag assembly RH and airbag sensor assembly.
OK
The connectors are properly connected.

Proceed to OK NG

- CHECK CONNECTORS
- Disconnect the airbag sensor assembly connector.
*1 Front Seat Cushion Airbag Assembly RH *2 Airbag Sensor Assembly *3 Wire Harness - Disconnect the front seat cushion airbag assembly RH connector.
- Check that the terminals of the connectors are not deformed or damaged.
OK
The terminals are not deformed or damaged.
- Check that the short springs of the activation prevention mechanism of the wire harness connector are not deformed or damaged.
OK
The short springs are not deformed or damaged.

- Disconnect the airbag sensor assembly connector.
- CHECK FRONT SEAT CUSHION AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH
- Connect the airbag sensor assembly connector.
*1 Front Seat Cushion Airbag Assembly RH *2 Airbag Sensor Assembly *3 Wire Harness *4 SST *a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Front Seat Cushion Airbag Assembly RH) - Connect SST (resistance: 2.1 Ω) to connector C.WARNING:
Never connect the tester to the front seat cushion airbag assembly RH for measurement, as this may lead to a serious injury due to airbag deployment.
NOTE:- Do not forcibly insert SST into the terminals of the connector when connecting SST.
- Insert SST straight into the terminals of the connector.
- SST: 09843-18061
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Clear the DTCs stored in memory.
Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check for DTCs.
Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Trouble Codes
Result
Proceed to DTC B1875-13 is not output DTC B1875-13 is output HINT:
Codes other than DTC B1875-13 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Disconnect SST from connector C.

REPLACE FRONT SEAT CUSHION AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to REMOVAL [07/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - ]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- Disconnect the airbag sensor assembly connector.

(to Front Seat Cushion Airbag Assembly RH) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
