DTC B009E-84: Right Side Restraints Sensor 5 Signal Below Allowable Range [07/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.

   *1	Side Airbag Pressure Sensor LH
   *2	Side No. 2 Airbag Sensor Assembly RH
   *3	Wire Harness

2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
3. Interchange the side airbag pressure sensor RH with LH and connect the connectors to them.
4. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
6. Clear the DTCs stored in memory.

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs 

7. Turn the ignition switch off.
8. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
9. Check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Proceed to
   DTC B009E-84 is output
   DTC B009B-84 is output
   DTCs B009B-84 and B009E-84 are not output

   HINT: 

   Codes other than DTCs B009B-84 and B009E-84 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

10. Turn the ignition switch off.
11. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
12. Return the side airbag pressure sensor LH and RH to their original positions and connect the connectors to them.

Result: 

DTC B009E-84 is output 

REPLACE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [07/2020 - 10/2022] 

Result: 

DTC B009B-84 is output 

REPLACE SIDE AIRBAG PRESSURE SENSOR RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [07/2020 - 10/2022] 

Result: 

DTCs B009B-84 and B009E-84 are not output
