- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL)
- Check and record any Hybrid Control DTCs and freeze frame data. Check for DTCs.
Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes
Result
Result Proceed to DTCs related to Hybrid Control System are not output. A DTCs related to Hybrid Control System are output. B - Turn the ignition switch off.

- CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU (VOLTAGE)
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY), unless instructed by the appropriate service information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Remove the No. 1 HV battery hose.
Refer to REMOVAL [07/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - ]
- Disconnect the y8 battery ECU assembly connector.NOTE:
Before disconnecting the connector, check that it is not loose or disconnected.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

(to Battery ECU Assembly) - Reconnect the y8 battery ECU assembly connector.
- Install the No. 1 HV battery hose.

- Disconnect the y8 battery ECU assembly connector.NOTE:
- Before disconnecting the connector, check that it is not loose or disconnected.
- Check the terminals of the connector for deformation and corrosion.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
