Installation [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. w/ Filter
      1. Install a new oil control valve filter to the cylinder block sub-assembly.
    2. Install 2 new oil cooler gaskets to the oil cooler assembly.
    3. Install the oil cooler assembly to the cylinder block sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 16 N*m (163 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Connect the No. 1 water by-pass hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose to the oil cooler assembly, and slide the 2 clips to secure them.
  2. ADD ENGINE OIL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [07/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [12/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [10/2023 - ]

  3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [07/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [12/2021 - ]

  4. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [07/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2023 - ]

  5. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [07/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [12/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [10/2023 - ]

  6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [07/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2021 - ]

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
