Removal [07/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [07/2020 - 10/2022]

  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE BATTERY HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR FRONT BELT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP CLIP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  12. REMOVE HOLE PLUG 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  13. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21

  14. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  15. REMOVE FRONT DOOR FRONT LOWER FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26

  16. REMOVE FRONT DOOR FIX WINDOW GLASS 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  17. REMOVE FRONT DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the front door belt moulding assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Protective Tape
    2. Disengage the 5 claws as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    3. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

      *a Thin-bladed Screwdriver with its Tip Wrapped with Protective Tape
      Push in this Direction
    4. Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration to remove the front door belt moulding assembly.
