Removal [07/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Kick Sensor) 
    NOTE:

    After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [07/2020 - 10/2022]

  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD (w/ Kick Sensor) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE BATTERY HOLE COVER (w/ Kick Sensor) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Kick Sensor) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER LH 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration to remove the rear combination light cover LH.

  6. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the rear bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. Remove the 2 rear bumper upper stoppers.

    3. Remove the 2 screws.

    4. Remove the 6 clips.

    5. Remove the clip.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Disengage the 6 claws as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    7. Disconnect each connector.

      *A w/ Kick Sensor
    8. Disengage the 6 claws and 4 guides as shown in the illustration to remove the rear bumper assembly.
