Installation [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT 
    WARNING:
    • Component with preload.

      Danger of injury!

      • Reduce preload as far as possible before disassembly. Relieve component.
    1. Feed in the fan and generator V belt (1) and install it.

    2. Using 16 mm socket, raise the preloading on the belt tensioner (1) in the direction of arrow.

      *a 4 mm Hexagon Wrench
    3. Remove the 4 mm hexagon wrench from belt tensioner (1).
  2. INSTALL WATER PUMP SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Feed in and install the water pump sub-assembly (3).

    2. Tighten the nut (2) on the holder.

      Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf) 

    3. Connect and lock the connector (1).
    4. Make sure the connector (1) engages audibly.
  3. INSTALL CYLINDER BLOCK COVER 
    1. Thread in and position the cylinder block cover (2).

    2. Fit all expanding rivets in marked areas.
    3. Secure clamps (1).
  4. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2020 - ]

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40
