Removal [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER LOWER PROTECTOR 

    Refer to REMOVAL [03/2019 - ]

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for High Temperature) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECM COVER 
    1. Release snap-lock couplings (1).

    2. Feed the engine room ECM cover (2) out toward the top and remove.
  4. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 
    WARNING:
    • Hot fluids.

      Risk of scalding!

      • Conduct all work in the vehicle wearing appropriate personal protective equipment only.
    NOTE:

    Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

    1. Unlock radiator hose sub-assembly (1) and pull off.

    2. Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
    3. Unlock No. 2 radiator hose (1) and pull off.

    4. Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
    5. Unlock the No. 2 radiator hose (1) below the intake plenum and detach it from the water valve.

    6. Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
    7. Guide the No. 2 radiator hose (1) out and remove.
