Installation [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

- INSTALL NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Guide the fuel feed line (3) into the holder (2) and install.
- Tighten the union nut (1) hand-tight.
- Tighten the union nut (1) with the 17 mm union nut wrench.
Specified tightening torque
Torque: 33 N.m (337 kgf/cm, 24 ft.lbf)
NOTE:Do not adjust the torque in the loosening direction.
HINT:
- Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

- When using a 17 mm union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 180 mm (7.09 in.)): 30 N.m (306 kgf/cm, 22 ft.lbf)
- Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
- Slide the fuel feed line in the direction of the arrow into the snap fastener (2) and lock.
- The fuel feed line must engage audibly.
- Attach and lock the clamp (1).
- Tighten down screw (3).
Torque: 6.5 N.m (66 kgf/cm, 58 in.lbf)
- Guide the fuel feed line (3) into the holder (2) and install.
