Removal [03/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR UNDERBODY PROTECTOR RH 

    See step  5

  2. REMOVE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:
    • Hot surfaces.

      Risk of burning!

      • Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
    NOTE:
    • Electrostatic discharge.

      Damage to or destruction of electrical components.

      • Only touch the housings of electrical components. Do not touch pins or multi-pin connectors directly.

    1. Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

    2. Loosen the bolts (1).

    3. Remove the actuator with bracket assembly (2).
