DTC B1321-87: Lost Communication with EMV Missing Message [11/2018 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the G18 combination meter assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   G18-10 (MSCL) - G114-16 (BAT)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal	6 kΩ or higher

1. Replace the combination meter assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - 10/2022]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Clear DTCs 

3. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

   HINT: 

   If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

4. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   DTC B1321-87 is not output.

   Result

REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2018 - 10/2022] 

1. Reconnect the G18 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the G2 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   G2-5 (CNH1) - G2-6 (CNL1)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal	108 to 132 Ω
