Removal [11/2018 - 02/2019]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH (for Gasoline Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH (for Gasoline Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Gasoline Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for Gasoline Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  6. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH (for Gasoline Model LH Side) 

    w/ Floor Under Cover:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  7. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (for Gasoline Model RH Side) 

    w/ Floor Under Cover:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 FLOOR UNDER COVER (for Gasoline Model LH Side) 

    w/ Floor Under Cover:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER (for Gasoline Model RH Side) 

    w/ Floor Under Cover:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  10. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 CONTROL ARM COVER (w/ Cover) 

    See step  2

  11. SEPARATE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the nut and separate the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly from the rear trailing arm assembly.
  12. REMOVE REAR TRAILING ARM ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a transmission jack and a wooden block, support the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.
      NOTE:
      • When jacking up the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly, be sure to jack it up slowly.
      • Make sure to perform this operation with the vehicle kept as low as possible.

      Remove the 3 bolts, nut and separate the rear trailing arm assembly from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and rear trailing arm assembly.
