Removal [06/2020 - 12/2021]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [06/2020 - 10/2022]

    NOTE:

    After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [06/2020 - 10/2022]

  2. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER WITH PUMP ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [06/2020 - 12/2021] 

  3. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 reservoir hose from the brake booster pump assembly.

    2. Using a union nut wrench, remove the brake actuator tube.

      NOTE:
      • Do not kink or damage the brake line.
      • Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake line from the connecting parts.
    3. Disengage the 3 clamps to separate the wire harness.

    4. Remove the nut, brake booster pump assembly, brake booster pump bushing and No. 2 brake actuator case collar.
