DTC Check / Clear [02/2019 - 12/2021]

  1. DTC CHECK/CLEAR 
    1. Check for DTCs.
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Read the DTCs following the prompts on the Techstream screen. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.

        Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes 

      5. Check the details of the DTCs.

        Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [02/2019 - 10/2019] , or refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2019 - 06/2020] , or refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [06/2020 - 08/2020] , or refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2020 - 12/2021]

    2. Clear the DTCs.
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.
      5. Press the DTC clear button.

        Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Clear DTCs 

  2. END OF DTC CHECK/CLEAR 
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    2. Check that the ABS warning, brake warning / yellow (minor malfunction), slip indicator and brake hold operated indicator* lights go off when the ignition switch is turned to ON (READY).
      1. *: The brake hold switch (integration control and panel assembly) is turned on under the following vehicle conditions.
        1. Vehicle Conditions:
          1. The driver's door is closed.
          2. Driver's seat belt is fastened.
