Yaw Rate Sensor Wrong Installation (X0456) [11/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (HEALTH CHECK)
    1. Perform the Health Check using the GTS.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs are not output A
      DTCs are output B

    Result:

    B

GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

    Result:

    A

    See step  2

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS (YAW RATE SENSOR VALUE)
    1. Check Data List item "yaw rate sensor value".

      Chassis > Brake/EPB > Data List

Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
Yaw Rate Sensor Value Yaw rate sensor Min.: -128°/s
      Max.: 127°/s
      Vehicle stopped: 0°/s
      Turning right: -128 to 0°/s
      Turning left: 0 to 127°/s
