  1. CHECK VEHICLE TYPE

  2. INSPECT LIGHTS 
    1. Inspect the illumination of each turn signal light.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the G19 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the 4A instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G19-1 (LL) or 4A-5 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the 4F instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Clear DTCs 

    3. Check for DTC.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]

    1. Disconnect the G19 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the A11 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
    3. Disconnect the J13 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G19-1 (LL) or A11-11 (TNS) or J13-1 (B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    Result:

    REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2018 - 10/2022]

    REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [02/2019 - 10/2019]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2019 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021] 

  7. CHECK HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the A11 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
    2. Clear the DTC.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Clear DTCs 

    3. Check for DTC.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes

    1. Disconnect the G19 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the 4A instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      G19-2 (LR) or 4A-4 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Clear the DTC.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Clear DTCs 

    3. Check for DTC.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]
