Brake Warning Light does not Come ON [02/2019 - 12/2021]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Select the Active Test on the Techstream.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [02/2019 - 12/2021]

   Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Active Test

4. Select the Data List on the Techstream.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [02/2019 - 12/2021]

5. Check the operating condition of the brake warning light / red (malfunction) when operating it using the Techstream.

   Result

   Brake warning light / red (malfunction) in the Data List does not change using the Active Test.	A
   Brake warning light / red (malfunction) in the Data List turns ON/OFF using the Active Test.	B

REPLACE BRAKE BOOSTER WITH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [02/2019 - 10/2019]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2019 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021]

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Perform the Active Test of the combination meter assembly (meter CPU) using the Techstream.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [11/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [08/2020 - 10/2022]

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Active Test 

   Tester Display
   Brake Warning

3. Check the combination meter assembly.

   OK

   The brake warning light / red (malfunction) turns on or off in accordance with the Techstream operation.

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

REPLACE BRAKE BOOSTER WITH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [02/2019 - 10/2019]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2019 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021]
