DTC B150A: Lost Communication with HMI-LAN [08/2016 - 08/2019]: Procedure

1. Check if navigation system DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

GO TO NAVIGATION SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2015 - 11/2017]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2017 - 12/2018]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [12/2018 - 08/2019]

1. Disconnect the F6 combination meter assembly (meter circuit plate) connector.
2. Disconnect the F95 navigation receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F6-33 (MSCH) - F95-3 (CNH1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F6-34 (MSCL) - F95-4 (CNL1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F6-33 (MSCH) or F95-3 (CNH1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F6-34 (MSCL) or F95-4 (CNL1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Replace the combination meter assembly (meter circuit plate) with a new or known good one.

   HINT: 

   Refer to DISASSEMBLY [11/2015 -]

2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait 30 seconds.
   NOTE:

   A maximum of 30 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter assembly (meter circuit plate) and navigation receiver assembly.

3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.
4. Check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   The audio tab illuminates and DTC B150A is not output.	A
   The audio tab does not illuminate and DTC B150A is output.	B
