Removal [12/2022 - 12/2023]: Procedure

    NOTE:

    After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the auxiliary negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [12/2022 - 12/2023]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    WARNING:
    • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2022 - 12/2023]

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Driver Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  8. REMOVE SIDE AIRBAG PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH

      *a Turns off - -
      1. Check that the ignition switch is off.
      2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
        WARNING:
        • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
        • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

      1. Remove the nut.
      2. Detach the claw and pull out the side airbag pressure sensor assembly LH.
        NOTE:

        If the side airbag pressure sensor assembly LH has been dropped, replace it with a new one.

      3. Disconnect the airbag connector and remove the side airbag pressure sensor assembly LH.
        NOTE:

        When disconnecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
