Installation [11/2020 - 12/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL SIDE AIRBAG PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH

      *a Turns off - -
      1. Check that the ignition switch is off.
      2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
        WARNING:
        • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
        • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

      1. Connect the airbag connector.
        NOTE:

        When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

        HINT: 

        Refer to How to Connect or Disconnect Airbag Connector:

        Refer to HOW TO CONNECT OR DISCONNECT AIRBAG CONNECTOR [11/2020 - ]

      2. Attach the claw to hold the side airbag pressure sensor assembly LH in place.
      3. Install side airbag pressure sensor assembly LH with the nut.

        Torque: 9.0 N.m (92 kgf/cm, 80 in.lbf) 

        NOTE:
        • If the side airbag pressure sensor assembly LH has been dropped, replace it with a new one.
        • When installing the side airbag pressure sensor assembly LH, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with or is not pinched between other parts.
      4. Check that there is no looseness in the installation parts of the side airbag pressure sensor assembly LH.
  2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH 
  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
  4. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Driver Side) 
  5. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Front Passenger Side) 
  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH 
  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2020 - 12/2022]

  8. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [11/2020 - 12/2022]

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.

  9. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK 
  10. CHECK POWER WINDOW OPERATION 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [11/2020 - 12/2023]

  11. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [11/2020 - ]
