GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2020 - 12/2022]

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
3. Replace the side airbag pressure sensor LH with a new one or known good one.

   HINT: 

   Refer to REMOVAL [11/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 12/2022]

   HINT: 

   • When using a new part, since the side airbag pressure sensor RH and LH have the same part number, prepare either one.
   • Use the prepared door side airbag sensor to check the side airbag pressure sensor RH as well.
4. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
6. Clear the DTCs stored in memory.

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs 

   Result

• Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.

Post-procedure1

• Turn the ignition switch off.
• Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
• Return the left side restraints sensor that was installed for testing to its original location.

REPLACE SIDE AIRBAG PRESSURE SENSOR LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2020 - 11/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 12/2022]

1. Replace the side airbag pressure sensor RH with a new one or known good one.

   HINT: 

   Refer to REMOVAL [11/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 12/2022]

   HINT: 

   • When using a new part, since the side airbag pressure sensor LH and RH have the same part number, prepare either one.
   • Use the prepared side airbag pressure sensor to check the side airbag pressure sensor LH as well.
2. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
4. Clear the DTCs stored in memory.

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs

• Return the right side restraints sensor that was installed for testing to its original location.
