Removal [12/2022 - 12/2023]: Procedure
- REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
- REMOVE RADIATOR COVER PLATE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
- RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP

- REMOVE FC STACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
- DISCONNECT FC CONVERTER POWER OUTLET CABLE (INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 - REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 - CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 - INSTALL CONNECTOR COVER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 - REMOVE FRONT COMPARTMENT UNDER COVER

- REMOVE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19
- DISCONNECT NO. 15 FC INVERTER COOLING HOSE
- DISCONNECT NO. 1 DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
*a Bolt (A) *b Bolt (B) - Remove the bolt (A).
- Remove the bolt (B) and disconnect the No. 1 discharge hose sub-assembly.
- Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 discharge hose sub-assembly.NOTE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.
- REMOVE SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY A
- REMOVE COMPRESSOR WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Detach the clamp.
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
- Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts.
*a Connector (A) *b Connector (B) *c Green-colored Lock - - Slide - - - While holding the compressor with motor assembly, slide the green-colored lock of the connector (A) as shown in the illustration to release it and disconnect the connector.WARNING:
Make sure to wear insulating gloves.
NOTE:Insulate the disconnected terminals and connector with vinyl tape.
- While holding the compressor with motor assembly, disconnect the connector (B) and remove the compressor with motor assembly.
- While holding the compressor with motor assembly, slide the green-colored lock of the connector (A) as shown in the illustration to release it and disconnect the connector.
- REMOVE NO. 2 FC COOLING WATER PUMP CABLE BRACKET
