Speed Signal Circuit [11/2020 - 11/2021]: Procedure
- INSPECT ECU TERMINAL VOLTAGE (INPUT VOLTAGE)
- Disconnect the D41*1 or D44*2 combination meter assembly connector.
- *1: w/o Advanced Drive
- *2: w/ Advanced Drive
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Check the input waveform.

- Connect an oscilloscope to terminal D41-20 (SI) and body ground.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Turn a wheel slowly.
- Check the signal waveform according to the condition(s) in the table below.

The waveform is similar to that shown in the illustration.
HINT:
When the system is functioning normally, one wheel revolution generates 4 pulses. As the vehicle speed increases, the width indicated by (A) in the illustration narrows.
