    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    WARNING:

    Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

      1. Using moulding remover A, detach the clip as shown in the illustration and remove the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly LH.

      1. Using moulding remover B, detach the clip in the removal direction (1) as shown in the illustration.
      2. Detach the guide in the removal direction (2) as shown in the illustration and remove the No. 2 instrument side panel.
