Removal [11/2020 - 11/2021]: Procedure

    WARNING:

    NOTE:

    After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the auxiliary negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [11/2020 - 11/2021]
  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    WARNING:
    • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2020 - 11/2021]

  3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR COVER PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  5. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

      1. Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

      1. Remove the 8 screws.

      *1 Front Bumper Side Mounting Bracket LH - -
      1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

        HINT: 

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      2. Fold back the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH and remove the screw.
      3. Detach the claw and remove the front bumper side mounting bracket LH.
      4. Detach the claw.
    4. Use the same procedure for the other side.
    5. w/ Advanced Drive:

      1. Detach the claw and disconnect the front No. 2 LiDAR cleaner hose sub-assembly.

        HINT: 

        Prepare a container before performing the procedure.

      *A w/ Advanced Drive *B w/ Advanced Park
      *C w/ Panoramic View Monitor System - -
      Remove in this Direction Bolt
      Connector Clip
      1. Disconnect each connector.
      2. Remove the 3 bolts.
      3. Remove the 2 clips.
      4. Detach the claw.
      5. Detach the guide and remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
  7. REMOVE PIN HOLD CLIP

      Remove in this Direction - -
  8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER
