Adjustment [11/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check that the clearance measurements of areas A to H are within the standard ranges

      STANDARD CLEARANCE:

      A -1.0 to 2.0 mm (-0.039 to 0.079 in.) B 3.0 to 6.0 mm (0.118 to 0.236 in.)
      C 3.4 to 6.4 mm (0.134 to 0.252 in.) D -0.8 to 2.2 mm (-0.031 to 0.087 in.)
      E -1.5 to 1.5 mm (-0.059 to 0.059 in.) F 3.7 to 6.7 mm (0.146 to 0.264 in.)
      G -1.5 to 1.5 mm (-0.059 to 0.059 in.) H 4.6 to 7.6 mm (0.181 to 0.299 in.)
      I 4.0 to 8.0 mm (0.157 to 0.315 in.) - -
  2. ADJUST LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Loosen the hinge bolts to adjust the door horizontally and vertically.

    2. Tighten the hinge bolts after adjustment.

      Torque: 13 N.m (133 kgf/cm, 

    3. Remove the rear finish plate.

    4. Loosen the striker mounting bolts.

    5. Using a brass bar and a hammer, hit the striker to adjust its position.
    6. Tighten the striker mounting bolts after adjustment.

      Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf/cm, 

    7. Install the rear finish plate.
