Roof Sunshade does not Move by Operating Roof Sunshade Switch [11/2020 - 12/2023]: Procedure

1. Using the GTS, read the Data List.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [11/2020 - 12/2023]

   Body Electrical > Sliding Roof > Data List

   The GTS display changes according to switch operation as shown in the table.

REPLACE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  DISASSEMBLY [11/2020 - ]

REPLACE ROOF SUNSHADE SWITCH (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2020 - ]

1. Disconnect the H4 roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) connector.
2. Disconnect the H8 roof sunshade switch (map light assembly) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   H4-9 (CLS) - H8-12 (CLS)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   H4-5 (OPN) - H8-11 (OPN)	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK

1. Disconnect the H8 roof sunshade switch (map light assembly) connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   H8-19 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG
