Inspection [11/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT HEADUP DISPLAY SWITCH (TRIP SWITCH) 
    1. Check the resistance.

      *1 HUD Switch
      *a Component without harness connected
      (Headup Display Switch (Trip Switch))
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
        D7-4 (ILU) - D7-2 (CH) HUD switch pushed Below 1 Ω Ω
        D7-4 (ILU) - D7-2 (CH) HUD switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher kΩ

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headup display switch (trip switch) assembly.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Headup Display Switch (Trip Switch))

      Check illumination.

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

        OK

        Tester Connection Specified Condition
        Auxiliary battery positive (+) - D7-10 (ILL+)
        Auxiliary battery negative (-) - D7-6 (ILL-)        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headup display switch (trip switch) assembly.
