Removal [11/2020 - 11/2021]: Procedure

  1. COMPONENT REPLACEMENT (w/ Advanced Drive) 

    -

  2. CUSTOMIZE POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column)

    NOTE:

    Perform the customization settings before turned off the ignition switch. Otherwise, removal of the combination meter assembly becomes difficult.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/ Navigation System) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2020 - 12/2022]

  4. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/o Navigation System) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2020 - 12/2022]

  5. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  6. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  9. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  10. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    HINT: 
    When removing the lower instrument cover sub-assembly, keep the No. 2 instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly floating.

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Remove the clip of the No. 2 instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly in the range as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction (1) Remove in this Direction (2)
      1. Detach the claw and guide.
      2. Detach the clip and remove the lower instrument cover sub-assembly.
  11. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

      1. Remove the 4 screws.
      2. Detach the guide and pull out the combination meter assembly.
      3. Disconnect each connector.
      4. Using needle-nose pliers, detach the clamp and remove the combination meter assembly.
