- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the D99 hazard warning signal switch assembly connector.
- Disconnect the D42 combination meter assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D99-5 (TB) - D42-2 (HAZ) Always Below 1 Ω D99-5 (TB) or D42-2 (HAZ) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher D99-4 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω Result
